Adhesives

There are many different types of adhesives to use depending on what project you are working on.  For adhering your photographs you should always use a dry adhesive. These come in tape runners or tab dispensers.  Many of these come in permanent or repositionable - but most times the permanent is best so that it is sure to stay on your page.

Popular brands are:

Or use old fashioned photo corners - they come in clear and various colors:
Photo corners are good for Memory boards or if you think you may need to remove the photo at some point.

When adhering paper die cut shapes and letters you can use the dry adhesive but most of the squares are too large.  The following wet adhesives are good to use.  The size of your paper item will help to determine if a glue stick or glue pen will work better.

MonoMulti is good for any type of paper piecing project - like the cricut character pieces.

The ATG gun and Zip dry are good for card making and board books.

There are various adhesives for embellishments.  For Buttons Zots or Glue Dots and for Ribbon there are Glue lines or use Tacky Tape (redline tape).

These can also be used to attach your photos.

This can also be used for board books but is a more expensive alternative.

For any item that you wish to make into a sticker the Xyron family of products will   make anything adhesive and is a good alternative for vellum pieces if you are not putting them on the page with brads or eyelets.

This EK Adhesive remover is an eraser for any glue that extends beyond your shape.  It is also effective in removing rub-ons that didn't go on quite right.

Un-Du is the ultimate adhesive remover.  It works really well in removing photo's from the old photo albums without ruining the pictures - you may need to use dental floss to help lift the photo's away.  Unfortunately, it does not work well with regular glue or glue sticks. (But It will help get the gum off your carpet!)
